If you want to experience the magic and mystery of the age old city at the foot of the amazing Table Mountain, you will find various types of accommodation right in the heart of the city. If you can think of it, you will find it. Backpackers lodges, luxury and budget hotels, self catering apartments and B&B’s to pick and choose from. If you don’t have a car available you will find staying in the city the easiest. Even though Cape Town has a better bus service than many other areas it is still far from perfect. There are various tours leaving from the city to Cape Point, the wine lands and other popular tourist areas for people without their own transport.

Spa and Luxury

If a luxury or spa experience, with exquisite sunsets and drinks on the beach are more your scene there is no better place than Clifton, Camps Bay or Llandudno. Very few views in the world can match the sunset from Camps Bay beach and even better if you are higher up on the mountain at the Twelve Apostles Hotel. Relax on the verandah with an exotic cocktail while the sun sets and you will know you have experienced magic. Camps Bay and Clifton have a vibe that fits the rich and famous. Street cafes, hotels and restaurants line the beach front. Don’t expect to find cheap accommodation here but you can rest assure you will find value for you money.
