Woodstock, one of Cape Town’s oldest areas, within the city bowl, has a very unique history. Even during the worst of the Apartheid’s years this area managed to stay integrated and never experienced the racial segregation the rest of the country had. Woodstock is known for its semi-detached Victorian houses and exiting shops and markets. It also hosts its own theatre and art gallery. Cape Town B&B accommodation can be found at the Avo Tree Villa.
